It’s about balance.
Relationships.
Id, Ego, Superego.
Structure and play.
The marriage between the two.

It’s about existing among chaos.
It’s daring.
Constricting.
Conflicting.

It’s life.
It’s my life.

One Year of Less

On January 4, 2026, I simply became fed up.

I reached a point where I couldn’t look away anymore.

I’m deeply disturbed by the world we’re living in—by how greed has become normalized, how people are being crushed financially while a small few accumulate endlessly, and how much quiet suffering exists beneath all of it. What troubles me just as much is how exhausted we’ve become. So many of us are numb, disconnected, reaching for food, screens, substances, shopping—anything to take the edge off a system that keeps demanding more.

I felt myself being pulled into that cycle, and I don’t want it.

One Year of Less is my decision to step back and choose differently. For one year, I’m becoming radically intentional about how I spend my money, my energy, and my attention. I’m saying no to unnecessary consumption, no to spaces that require constant spending, and no to the attention economy that has replaced love and connection with visibility and validation.

This project comes from a desire to reclaim something quieter and more honest. To see what remains when I stop feeding what feels harmful. To notice what changes when I choose less—less spending, less noise, less performance.

I don’t fully know what this will become. It may turn into documentation, writing, or a book. What I do know is that this is a real stance. A year of opting out. A year of less as an emotional, ethical, and creative act.

I look forward to sharing the results of this project, this stance, in 2027.
